MDS 3.0 - What You Need To Know

MDS 3.0 is an entirely different assessment from MDS 2.0 with new definitions, new sections, different look-back periods and completely different instructions. There is emphasis on interviewing the resident and specific interviewing techniques that must be mastered. Your team will be able to recognize the changes and develop a plan for concurrent therapy limitations and documentation requirements for maximal IDT teamwork to complete the accurate MDS 3.0 and recognize the financial and clinical implications for accurate coding for the therapy related sections of the MDS 3.0. This seminar is designed for physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, as well as other SNF Interdisciplinary Team members responsible for the therapy aspect of MDS 3.0.

The cost for this seminar is $100.00 per person and it includes cost of 3 hours of instruction, continuing education credit, refreshments and handouts. So that we may properly prepare for the seminar, we ask that you pre-register by August 1, 2010. A $50.00 late fee will be added to those persons registering after August 1, 2010.
